Above and Beyond

John truly went the legendary "above and beyond" on working with me to sell my townhouse. He advised me on what needed to be done to prepare it to sell and what I could save money by not doing. He found an excellent handyman to do clean up and property preparation. In fact, John even went out and bought the paint I needed for me since I had moved out of San Diego. But I did not worry about not being there since John was supervising all the work that needed to be done. Once the property was listed, he was very proactive in marketing, calling back other agents, getting feedback from potential buyers, and advising me on strategy day-by-day as the process evolved. The pictures he had taken of my townhouse were superb, and he did an extremely nice brochure and website on it. When we had an accepted offer, John continued to be there, extremely responsive, answering all my questions, getting leftover items hauled away, and so on. Our house had a historical designation. We saw this as a plus but many potential buyers did not understand what that designation meant. John was able to provide the facts about the designation and the pluses to owning our home. He had the info available to explain what people could do or not do to our home and how to contact the HRB for questions he couldn't answer. This was very important to the sale of our house. John also was available anytime to meet with potential buyers because he is -always- reachable by phone and email.
